| 75 Corvette - Yes you're right! It was supposed to be Silver, however we found out the car was Red originally and the owner decided to return the car to it's original color. Final Masking is performed after extensive guide coating, blocking and finish sanding. The car will be painted in pieces and assembled. Typically we paint non-metallic color cars in pieces to avoid additional cut-in of jambs and edging. |

| Project complete. This tired looking car has made quite a transition. The body lines are sharp and crisp. The car was painted its original Millie Miglia Red with Martin Senour Ultra. An unbelievable finish depth and richness makes the car glow. The owner originally wanted to paint it silver but reconsidered and returned to the original color. Pretty hard to beat a red convertible. This car is now shown in all its original colors in and out. The interior was freshened up with new carpets, the useable seats and door panels will be changed out later as well as detail items after visiting Carlisle this summer. This car will surely turn heads in the front row at any show and be a joy to own. Thanks to all the crew, Steve M, Marc V. Steve R., Bob J., Bill R. Thanks to the owner for working so well with us!! |
