This new arrival was brought to us for partial participation. The owner disassembled the car and completed a frame-off restoration. The frame was sandblasted and the engine and transmission were rebuilt. All the underbody work is complete. The body was stripped of trim and paint was blocked. It is ready for a sprayable bodyfiller to level and seal the existing finish. As the project progresses, the body will be primed and blocked as needed until it is ready for the top coat of Goodwood Green. Our goal is to paint and assemble the body panels. The owner intends to complete the trim and chrome installation.

Its base-coat clear-coat systems will allow for an exact color match to the GM sample, as well as incorporating an updated, more durable finish than was originally applied to this car. Once the finish is baked and cured, the finish will be wet-sanded and polished to a smooth deep look. This color will glow! As far as greens go, this color is exceptional and was very popular on Corvettes of this year. Once polished we will assemble the parts we have and black out the areas needed. The car will be cleaned and can go home for the final assembly!
