This all-original 59 Impala just arrived. These cars generally melted here in NY! Rust just eats them alive. This car however is unbelievable. Never been touched. Never any body work or paint. Inside is just like new. Reminds me of the 58 Olds. Follow its trip though a complete repaint.

The rear floor pan is sandblasted and cleaned revealing some holes and deep pits. Our Rustbuster spraywelder will solve the problem in quick fashion. All the original panels will stay in place. The trunk gutter is rusted and perforated, and will also undergo a Rustbuster spraywelding. Remember, the spraywelder sprays pure tin and zinc with excellent filling quality, galvanizing the area and protecting it against future rust. Check back for more photos.

Body work and primer stages are complete. Car has been guide coated and blocked. The next stage will be to clean and wash the car to prepare for painting the two-tone step. The white goes first.

Two tone color: white is complete, now the remainder of the blue will be prepared to spray. Often we apply a few coats of the base color to inspect the panels before final color coat and clear coat application.
